BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) – Dr. Glenn Goldis, Chief Medical Officer for Kern Medical, joined 17 News at Sunrise to discuss the latest coronavirus news.
Dr. Goldis discussed low influenza numbers this season and how the county is seeing a slight improvement in hospitalizations but Kern Medical is still seeing high numbers of COVID-19 patients. He also shared an update about the Moderna vaccines held earlier this week that are now safe, according to the California Department of Public Health.
