African artifacts to be displayed for exhibit

An African artifacts exhibition will be open on Thursday for the public.

The free event will feature the Harambee Art Gallery exhibition, traditional African artifacts including carvings, statues, masks, drums and other artifacts.

Visit the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center at 1000 South Owens St. from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday to see the exhibition.
