A little rain didn’t put a damper on Bakersfield Speedway’s dirt track racing Saturday night.
After a taking a year off, the racetrack hosted The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series.
The series’ stop in town was part of their western swing through California.
For Bakersfield Speedway, it serves as the biggest single-day event of the year.
Some local drivers also had a chance to shine under the lights with their IMCA Modifieds and Mod Lites.
Bakersfield Speedway had been ready to host this event since the beginning of March, but racing had been put off due to rain.
