Two women are expected in court today, accused of breaking into a home and beating a man with a baseball bat.

Savannah Johnson, 24, and Christal Rutter, 34, are accused of robbery, carjacking and assault with a deadly weapon.

KCSO says the pair broke into an Oildale home Wednesday morning with two other men. The group then beat a man with a baseball bat before stealing his car.

According to sheriff’s deputies, the man suffered major injuries to his head and body.

The two other men are still at large.
