Kern County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a suspect who shot a woman Thursday night in South Bakersfield.
On Oct. 24, around 8:30 p.m., KCSO was dispatched to reports of gunshots in the 1000 block of Smith Street in Cottonwood. When deputies arrived, they found Karen Shivers, 33, with a gunshot wound to her ankle, according to KCSO.
Shivers was transported to Kern Medical for treatment.
The suspect vehicle was described as a gray or dark gray sedan.
