Woman remains hospitalized 2 weeks after being struck by car in Central Bakersfield

A woman remains hospitalized and listed as critical after being hit by a car in Central Bakersfield two weeks ago.

The collision happened near the intersection of Oak and Palm streets at around 11:30 p.m. on May 29.

The woman suffered major injuries in the collision. The driver stayed at the scene and worked with investigators.

Police said drugs, alcohol and speed don’t appear to be factors in the collision.
