A bicyclist was taken to a local hospital overnight after a hit-and-run in East Bakersfield.
The crash happened just after 10 p.m. Tuesday. A woman was riding her bike near the intersection of Haley and Monterey streets when a car clipped her back tire.
She was thrown from her bike and a second car hit her bike.
The driver of that second car stayed at the scene to cooperate with the investigation but the first car fled the scene.
The woman was taken to a hospital where her injuries are unknown. Police did not provide a suspect vehicle.
