A 7-year-old Wisconsin girl with an inoperable brain tumor is asking for letters from dogs.

Emma Martens of Hartland, Wisconsin was diagnosed a rare brain tumor known as DIPG. To help her cope with the disease, she asked for letters from people’s dogs.

DIPG is a rare but aggressive tumor found at the base of the brain. It’s a cancer usually commonly diagnosed in children between age 5 and 9.

So far, Emma has received more than 100,000 cards from dogs around the world, according to NBC affiliate TMJ4 in Milwaukee.

Marley’s Mutts heard of Emma’s story and shared a letter its namesake wrote to Emma.
