Students at West High School have taken on an art project with students in Syria.
The students are swapping photos with the Syrian students to draw each other.
The Memory Project pairs art students with children in impoverished communities.
The West High students got the Syrian photos, drew them and wrote a message on the back to send back to their counterparts.
The drawings were on display at the West High School Library on Tuesday.
The Memory Project was founded in 2004 to help build feelings of international friendship and solidarity.
