It was a packed house at the Crystal Palace Monday night as folks enjoyed some amazing ukulele music.
Ukulele sensation Jake Shimabukuro has been touring non-stop since the release of his debut album “Nashville Sessions” which hit No. 3 on the Billboard contemporary jazz albums chart.
He was thrilled to play at the house of Buck Owens.
“This is awesome man, so much history here and honored to be on this stage. I love the vibe and it’s so cool, and I know Buck Owens is such an icon, and especially in this town, he’s influenced so many musicians,” he said.
Rolling Stone calls Shimabukuro one of the hottest axemen of the past few years who doesn’t actually play guitar.
