U.S. Marshals searching for man wanted for murder

United States Marshals of Vermont are searching for a man wanted for alleged murder, sexual assault on a minor and unlawful flight to avoid. 

Leroy Headley is suspected of shooting his longtime partner and mother of his two children at their shared residence in South Burlington, Vermont on May 3, 2018. After shooting the mother of his two children it is believed Headley fled the state and has not been located.  

Headley is originally from Jamaica and has ties throughouth the United States, Jamaica and Canada. U.S. Marshals believe Headley is living under an assumed name and have befriended people under the alias. 

Headley may have changed his appearance in order to hide his identity. He is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached. 

If you see Headley, contact law enforcement as soon as possible.

There we will a reward up to $5000 from the U.S. Marshals for information that leads to the arrest Headley.
