One of three bikers charged with planning a deadly confrontation with a rival gang pleaded not guilty to charges against him Friday afternoon.
Christopher Clay Wilson pleaded not guilty to attempted murder.
Bakersfield police said he and two other members of the Mongols Motorcycle Club deliberately provoked the Hells Angels at an event near Zingo’s Cafe last month.
Police said another Mongol, Ricardo Viera, was shot after firing into a crowd.
The three men are due back in court on June 20. Wilson is being held on more than a $1 million bail.
