Thieves hit Fresno Lululemon store, steal thousands in leggings

Lululemon surveillance video shows thieves steal $17,000 worth of leggings during store hours. The theft took place Sunday at the Fig Garden Village store in Fresno.

The women walk in with bags and head straight over to the cabinets filled with leggings. Police said they stole $17,000 in merchandise.

Police said this group has targeted a number of bay area stores. They have stolen from Berkeley, Gilroy, and other northern California cities.

On Tuesday, only two days after they stole from the Fresno location, they hit the store again. This time stealing three $3,000 in leggings.

The manager of Jack’s Urban Eats, a restaurant only a couple of units down from Lululemon saw the whole thing unfold from his office cameras.

He said they all were able to escape and as they tried to drive away, they almost hit a pedestrian. Now he wants to find these women responsible.

Officials say the group of suspects have taken $120,000 in merchandise just this month. They were arrested at one point but later released.

Witnesses describe the suspect vehicle as a 4-door Chevy Impala.
