A new entertainment hotspot and restaurant is set to open Thursday night in Bakersfield.
The BLVD, a 45,000-square-foot venue with dining options and an outdoor beer garden, is set to open April 19. Before the grand opening, the venue will host a VIP event Thursday night, benefiting a handful of local charities. Tickets for the event are sold out, according to organizers.
Along with the full-service restaurant, guests will have the opportunity to experience The BLVD’s outdoor patio and beer garden, complete with a fire pit and two 30-foot bocce ball courts, according to the venue. Inside, the family-friendly entertainment venue will include 14 classic bowling lanes, ropes course, laser tag, 60 interactive sports, action and prize games and sports viewing on larger-than-life projection screens at the lanes and HD-TVs throughout area, according to its owners.
Additionally, the VIP area will include a 21-and-over lounge, featuring eight exclusive bowling lanes, billiards table and a full-service bar.
The BLVD is located just north of the Crystal Palace at 3200 Buck Owens Blvd.
