Tattoo shop hosts fundraiser for horse burned in Cottonwood Fire

News

One of the surviving horses of a fire that killed more than 30 animals at a stable on Cottonwood Road last year still needs your help.

A fundraiser for the horse named Boss is taking place at a local tattoo shop Friday.

Tattoos will be available starting at $25 and up to $55.

The money raised will go toward a surgery needed to repair Boss’ lip that was badly burned in the fire.

Boss is set to be used as a rehabilitation horse for children and adult burn victims.

The event starts Friday, July 20 at 11 a.m. and goes on until 10 p.m.

It’s at 7th Tradition Tattoo Shop located at 226 Bernard St. in Northeast Bakersfield.
