Surveillance video shows start of home invasion robbery at Southwest Bakersfield home

Bakersfield police released chilling video of the start of a home invasion robbery where three people broke into a Southwest Bakersfield home and robbed the people in the home at gunpoint. 

Police said the robbery happened on Aug. 4 in the 9500 block of High Oak Drive.

The video shows a woman knocking on a door, followed by two others kicking down the door and carrying firearms after someone opens the door for the woman.

Police said the people inside the home were robbed at gunpoint by the suspects who eventually got away. The people inside the home were not injured and police are looking for all three assailants.

Police provided a description of the woman shown in the video.

She is described as standing 5 feet, 5 inches tall, with a slim build with red or brown hair. She was wearing a long black and white pinstripe dress.
