Surveillance video shows attempted break-in

Bakersfield Police are looking for a man, who was caught on surveillance video, attempting to break into a home in East Bakersfield.

According to police, the suspect tried to make his way into a home in the 2300 block of East Hills Drive on October 11.

He was caught on surveillance camera video.

Officers describe the suspect as a black male, 20-30 years old with short facial hair. He was last seen wearing a black/red jacket, tan pants and red shoes.

Anyone with information regarding the identity of the suspect is asked to call Detective Craig Trefz at 326-3535, or BPD at 327-7111.
