Supporting Kern County parks with Hart Park after Dark


Families in Kern County enjoyed themselves Saturday for the 2nd Annual ‘Hart Park after Dark.’

The county hosted the event to highlight the importance of parks and county departments in our community.

According to the County of Kern, parks are vitally important to establishing and maintaining the quality of life in a community.

Kids and their families enjoyed free fun courtesy of county departments, like:

• Crafting spider hats and finger puppets with the Kern County Library

• Face painting with Kern County Veterans Services

• Pumpkin ring toss with Kern County Human Services

• Pumpkin bowling with Kern County Probation

And the list goes on, as there was departments from all over the county.
