Folks from around town participated in a lesson in Bakersfield’s most famous and influential historic figures.
The Kern Art Council’s Stories on the Sidewalk in Downtown Bakersfield was the first of its kind, taking a walk into the past.
The walk featured famous residents like Supreme Court Justice Earl Warren and even the founder of Bakersfield himself, Colonel Thomas Baker.
The tour had 11 stops in Downtown Bakersfield with a different actor portraying a historic figure at each stop.
