LAPD says detention officer died from complications of coronavirus

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (KGET) — The Los Angeles Police Department says a senior detention officer has died from complications of the coronavirus.

Erica McAdoo died on Friday, the LAPD said on social media. The department asked that the public keep her family in its prayers, “along with the 287 department employees who are currently at home after having been exposed to or have tested positive for COVID-19.”
