Spring Nature Festival

Wind Wolves Preserve is hosting the 6th Annual Spring Nature Festival on Saturday, March 16 and Sunday, March 17. 

The festival includes activities for all ages such as guided nature hikes in both Spanish and English, wildflower viewing, bird watching, education exhibits, a movie in the San Emigdio Canyon Sunset Theater and more. 

The festival hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Sunday.

High attendances is expected, so visitors are recommended to arrive an hour prior to the festival opening to accommodate for parking. 

New in 2019, the preserve will offer free transportation to the festival on Saturday, March 16 from Bakersfield, Delano and Arvin every hour from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. 

Specific pick-up locations are the following:

  •  Arvin High School: 900 Varsity Rd.
  • Golden Valley High School: 801 Hosking Ave. 
  • Delano Area Rapid Transit (DART) Station: 1120 Glenwood St.
