It was another successful test for Virgin Galactic’s SpaceShipTwo.
Lift off was just after 8 a.m. Friday morning at Mojave Air and Space Port.
SpaceShipTwo was supposed to launch Wednesday, but was delayed because of winds.
The test flight is a step toward commercial space tourism.
More than 600 people have committed up to $250,000 for rides in the six-passenger rocket.
During Friday’s test flight, the aircraft reached a little over 295,000 feet.
It traveled more than three times the speed of sound.
