South High School students’ art on display in Central Bakersfield

South High School students combined the worlds of art and mathematics in original art now on display at the Empty Space Gallery in Central Bakersfield.

Student art work shows “the power of geometry” and is on display until March 3 at the gallery at 706 Oak St.

A reception for the exhibit called “Geometrix” takes place Feb. 17 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. With student prints available for purchase for $10 each. All proceeds from sales go towards paying AP exams fees for AP calculus students.
