Southern California Edison has opened a mobile community resource center ahead of possible power shutoffs.

LAKE ISABELLA, Calif. (KGET) — The Kern County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that Southern California Edison has set up a community resource center in Lake Isabella for customers ahead of a possible power shutoff.

The department said a mobile unit has been set up in front of the Kern River Valley Senior Center, 6405 Lake Isabella Blvd. KCSO said deputies will be conducting safety checks in the area.
