On Sunday, Feb. 4, Ridgecrest Police Department arrested a 35-year-old parolee with several warrants out for his arrest.
Antonio Ramos, of Ridgecrest, was contacted by police in the 300 block of N. Norma Street. When officers approached Ramos, he tried to flee, according to police.
Officers were able to detain him and located drug paraphernalia at the time of his arrest.
Ramos was also recently served with a domestic violence restraining order, according to police.
He was arrested and booked on a handful of charges including resisting arrest, drug possession and parole violation.
