RESCHEDULED: Comedian Ron White at Bakersfield’s Fox Theater

Update (Oct. 30): A Ron White show scheduled for last week at The Bakersfield Fox Theater was  postponed due to “unforeseen circumstances,” according to a post on The Fox Theater’s Facebook.

The concert has been rescheduled for Thursday, April 25. White had to reschedule this month’s date for health reasons, according to the Fox Theater.

If you already bought a ticket, it’s still valid. If you don’t have one, new tickets for the rescheduled date go on sale Wedesday at 11 a.m. at the Fox.

White’s comedy routine includes stories from daily life growing up in a small Texas town, to working alongside Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall, and Larry the Cable Guy.

Together, the four men toured for over three years to sold-out audiences in over 270 cities and grossed more than $35 million. In 2003, Warner Brothers filmed the show, Blue Collar Comedy Tour: The Movie for a theatrical/TV/DVD/CD release. When the film premiered on TV, it was the most-watched movie in Comedy Central’s history.

Over the past nine years he has been one of the top three grossing stand-up comedians on tour in America, according to his website.
