A new program at the SPCA can get your pit bulls fixed while having a chance at winning a new TV.

“Wings of Rescue” has teamed up with the SPCA to get pit bulls spayed or neutered.

The rescue group says altering put bulls and pit bull mixes keeps shelters from overcrowding and stops them from putting down dogs.

Operation Pit Stop is what they’re calling it.

Pit bull owners can get their dog fixed for free and get a raffle ticket to win a 70-inch high definition, smart TV.

To schedule an appointment, you can call the Bakersfield SPCA at 323-8353.
