Police need help identifying auto theft suspect

Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s help in identifying and locating a man who allegedly stole a vehicle earlier this month.

The auto theft happened on July 12 in the 3100 block of Buck Owens Blvd. The vehicle was later located by investigators, according to BPD.

The suspect is described as:

  • Male, 25 to 30 years of age
  • 5’9″ to 6’0″
  • 170 to 180 pounds, numerous tattoos on his arms and chest
  • Wearing a gray baseball cap with a black Hurley symbol, a white tank top, and black shorts
