A Bakersfield family is asking for the public’s help after their classic pickup truck was stolen.

Claudia Casagrande filed a report with the Bakersfield Police Department after her 1933 Diamond T truck was stolen Thursday. It was last seen in a Downtown Bakersfield neighborhood near the intersection of 21st and 20th Street.

The truck, which has been in the Casagrande family for more than 80 years, has often been seen around town in local parades, such as the Bakersfield Fourth of July parade, according to Jessica Casagrande Glover, Claudia’s daughter.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the truck is asked to call BPD at 661-327-7111.
