A woman struck by a vehicle last week in Southwest Bakersfield remains listed as critical and police are asking for any witnesses to come forward.
The woman was struck by a car at the intersection of Akers and McKee roads on Oct. 4 at around 7:15 a.m. and was hospitalized with major injuries.
The driver who struck the woman remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
On Monday, after reviewing surveillance video of the area, police said they’re hoping a woman who may have been a witness to the collision will contact them.
The woman was described as wearing light blue athletic clothing and light blue shoes.
