Bakersfield police arrested four people — including two juveniles — following a pursuit that ended with the group’s getaway car colliding with a GET bus in South Bakersfield Thursday afternoon.

Police said a traffic stop at around 4:30 p.m. in the 2600 block of Ming Avenue led to a short pursuit. Officers followed the car to the 1400 block of Ming Avenue where the group’s vehicle crashed into a GET bus. Police said no one was injured in the crash.

According to police, the four got out and tried to escape from officers, and one of them tossed a loaded handgun.
