A 19-year-old man was arrested over the weekend on suspicion of robbery.
On Saturday, Bakersfield Police Department responded to the 1000 block of Chester Place, just southwest of Lowell Park regarding an armed robbery, according to BPD.
The victim told police two suspects allegedly approached him while he was sitting in his car, brandished a gun and robbed him, according to police.
A man matching one of the suspect descriptions, Darrin Williams, 19, was found three blocks away on 2nd Street. Williams was found with “a portion of the loss” from the robbery and a gun was located in the yard where he stopped, police said.
A second suspect is still wanted. He is described as 18-20 years old with a red and blue hat and black pants.
Williams was booked on charges of robbery, conspiracy, and possessing an illegal firearm.
