Kern County Public Health officials said they are making progress toward reopening an Oildale Domino’s that was shut down last week.
A spokesperson with Kern County Public Health said they had a productive meeting with the Domino’s owner and management Tuesday morning but said it’s still unclear when it will reopen.
“We will continue to work with them to ensure that strong processes are in place and that the facility is properly cleaned and sanitized prior to reopening,” a Kern County Public Health spokesperson said in an email to 17 News.
Health inspectors had found a rat and rat droppings inside the Domino’s on North Chester Avenue. Inspectors also cited the restaurant for loose ceiling panels.
