Five local non-profits are set to get a boost from a new fundraising program.
The Kern Community Foundation announced a new partnership with Network For Good and its Jumpstart program.
Jumpstart pairs non-profits with a fundraising coach and gives them access to technology to help with fundraising and effective spending.
Manager of Community Impact Louis Medina says non-profits are always busy and understaffed so this kind of help is important.
“A lot of non-profits need this kind of hands on assistance to do fundraising right, to work smarter not harder.”
Five non-profits, each from a different county district, will be picked for the program.
