Two local non-profits are teaming up to sell doughnuts for the homeless.
Flood Bakersfield Ministries is teaming up with the United Way of Kern County’s Regive Project to raise money and collect donated items for Kern County’s homeless population.
The group will sell Krispy Kreme doughnuts outside the KGET studios between 6 a.m. and 10 a.m. on June 1.
Proceeds will go towards the Flood Bakersfield’s Street Outreach Team that provides local homeless people with necessary items like water, hygiene kits, and bus passes.
You can also drop off new or gently used household items to help them transition out of homelessness and into new homes.
