DELANO, Calif. (KGET) — The Delano Police Department conducted a DUI and driver’s license checkpoint Friday night.
The checkpoint was located within the southbound lane of the 1000 block of Ellington Street between 8 P.M. and 2 A.M.
According to DPD, a total of 18 cars were screened. No drivers were further evaluated or suspected of operating a vehicle while impaired.
The department issued 12 citations, ranging from a misdemeanor violations to traffic infractions.
