The man suspected in the brutal 1979 murder of Dawn Koons will go before a judge today.
Prentice Foreman, 60, is scheduled to be arraigned this morning at 10 a.m.
On Thursday, police and the district attorney’s office announced that they arrested Foreman in the killing of Koons.
Koons was last seen by friends in January of 1979. Four days later, she was found dead in her apartment.
Court documents say semen collected from Koons in 1979 matched Foreman.
According to documents, police interviewed him back in 1979, but he said he didn’t know Koons and he wasn’t at the apartment when she was killed.
