Man killed in Northeast Bakersfield shooting identified

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Coroner’s officials have identified a man shot dead Friday evening in Northeast Bakersfield. 

Enrique Meza Guadron, 36, died at the scene of the 6:55 p.m. shooting in the 2800 block of Fordham Street, according to the coroner’s office.

Another person was wounded. Police said it’s unclear if the shooting was gang-related. 

Anyone with information is asked to call the BPD at 327-7111.
