Man killed in I-5 crash Sunday identified

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A man killed in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 5 Sunday has been identified.

Rohitesh Raj, 47, of Clovis, died at the scene of the 5:30 p.m. crash south of Grapevine Road, according to coroner’s officials. He was ejected from the vehicle. 

According to the California Highway Patrol, Raj was driving a pickup at “a high rate of speed” when he veered right. The truck hit the concrete wall of the center divider then rolled down an embankment.
