Man arrested for hiding meth in car


More than $20,000 of meth was seized from a Lake Isabella man’s car over the weekend.

On Dec. 16 at 2:20 a.m., Kern County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop in the 2200 block of Reeder Drive in Lake Isabella.

During a search of the car, KCSO located one pound of methamphetamine, valued at $22,500, hiding in the engine compartment of the car, according to deputies. 

The driver, 35-year-old  Adan Junior Villegas, was arrested and booked.
