A man was arrested after being found with a loaded gun, cocaine, heroin, and more than seven ounces of meth, according to the Kern County Sheriff’s Office.
Bulmaro Perez, 35, was arrested Saturday after deputies searched a residence in the 1500 block of Bernard Place, finding the gun and drugs, KCSO said.
Perez was booked into the downtown jail on charges of being a felon in possession of a firearm, being armed with a firearm while in possession of a controlled substance, sale of methamphetamine, sale of cocaine and heroin, being a felon in possession of ammunition, and maintaining a house for the purpose of drug sales.
Perez has a history in the court system, pleading no contest in 2004 to assaulting a person while in possession of a gun, according to the Superior Court of Kern County’s online court records database.
Perez’s bail is set at $120,000.
He is due in court Tuesday.
