A man and women were arrested after deputies confiscated three guns and around $900 in drugs, according to the Kern County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies found the guns and drugs at approximately 8:45 a.m. Thursday while conducting a probation search in the 300 block of Cotton Avenue in Buttonwillow.
Tevis Stephens, 40, and Alyssa Johnson, 25, were booked on numerous felony charges, according to KCSO.
More than 70 grams of suspected methamphetamine and 7.26 grams of suspected heroin were confiscated, as well as a rifle, shotgun, and handgun, KCSO said.
