BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The City of Bakersfield is transferring the Westside Parkway to Caltrans, meaning the parkway will be under the jurisdiction of the California Highway Patrol, the law enforcement agency said in a tweet Monday.
The transfer will take effect Feb. 5.
