BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Valley Plaza Mall was briefly evacuated Thursday evening due to a small fire at a cosmetology shop, according to the Bakersfield Fire Department.
Fire officials say a burned-out exhaust fan caused the small fire.
The mall was evacuated briefly and business returned to normal within 30 minutes.
