UPDATE: The Kern County Sheriff’s Office has identified the man as Bakersfield resident Anthony Moreno Viveros.
LAMONT, Calif. (KGET) — A 19-year-old man was shot and killed Sunday evening in Lamont the sheriff’s office said.
Deputies said they were called to the 8100 block of Fuller Drive for a report of a victim of a shooting there.
Officials said the 19-year-old was taken to a Kern Medical where he was pronounced dead.
The coroner’s office will identify the 19-year-old.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information on the killing is asked to call the Kern County Sheriff’s Office at 661-861-3110.
