Raising Cane’s, a popular fried chicken restaurant is opening its first location in Bakersfield on Tuesday.
The restaurant is expected to open on Feb. 12, according to a birthday listed on its website. A Facebook event page says the store will open at 9 a.m. and is offering the first 100 customers a commemorative T-shirt.
Raising Cane’s, originally established in Louisiana, is based on a menu of breaded chicken tenders, fries, garlic toast, coleslaw and a homemade sauce. The restaurant also sells fresh lemonade and sweet tea.
Raising Cane’s is set to open in Bakersfield on Coffee Road near Downing Avenue, across the street from Mister Car Wash.
