BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The county’s first glass recycling machine is giving a chance for homeless and disadvantaged residents to get job training.

It’s called the Recycling Lives initiative. The program provides the unique job training so they can gain necessary skills to re-enter the workforce and get back on their feet.
