BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The state has fined Primex Farms more than $27,000 for a deadly COVID-19 outbreak last year. At least one person died after dozens contracted coronavirus at the plant, according to UFW.
Agencies that brought in workers for the plant were also fined thousands of dollars.
