UPDATE: Power has been restored to PG&E customers in East Bakersfield, according to PG&E’s outage map.

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Around 2,269 PG&E customers in East Bakersfield lost power Monday evening. The outage was reported around 5:38 p.m. and the estimated restoration time is around 8:45 p.m., according to the PG&E outage website.

The outage is affecting homes and businesses between Edison Highway and College Avenue. The outage map website reports PG&E is still assessing the cause of the outage.
