BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A portion of Wible Road is shut down this week.
Work crews are working to break down the old northbound to eastbound connector bridge. The closure began Monday morning between Stockdale Highway and Belle Terrace.
The road will remain closed through Friday.
Despite the road closure, officials say businesses on Wible Road will remain open. Detour signs are posted around the closure.
